Cricket may be included in Olympic Games in 2028, possible announcement soon

One of the big news for cricket fans is that efforts are on to include cricket in the Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028. The BCCI has recently come under the National Anti-Doping Association (NADA) which is recognized by the World Anti-Doping Association (WADA).

A website quoted Gating as saying that Gating said that we were talking to Manu Swayne and he is very hopeful that cricket can get a place in 2028 Olympic Games. He is working strongly on this. This will be a big thing for cricket globally.

Gatting further said that it would be only a matter of two weeks and not a whole month. Therefore, it will be one of those tournaments, in which there will be no problem in making a two-week schedule. It was recently announced that women's cricket would be included in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games to be held in 2022. Gatting said that this would be confirmed in the coming weeks.
