Shikhar Dhawan, playing for India A team during the last ODI against South Africa A, was hit by a fast ball. After this the physio had to come to the ground to investigate Dhawan. Now Dhawan has told how his life was saved even after being hit by a fast ball.
On the occasion of Onam on Wednesday, Dhawan shared a picture on Instagram, referring to the bouncer engaged during the match and wrote, Happy Onam to all of you. I visited the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Whereupon I prayed to God, I was completely cured despite having such a sharp bouncer on my neck. Attending the Aarti here was a great experience. '
Dhawan was injured while trying to scoop a Hendricks ball during the fifth ODI between South Africa A and India A. Dhawan could not read the ball properly and the ball was directly in the back of his neck. Due to the pain, the physio also came to check him in the field and gave first aid.
