Now cricket commentary will be echoed on radio, agreement with BCCI

The BCCI has signed a two-year deal with AIR (AIR) for live telecast of national cricket team's matches and home matches in India. Under this announcement made on Tuesday, millions of listeners of the country will get to hear the live broadcast of the match through radio commentary on AIR.

The audio commentary will begin on September 15 in Dharamsala against the first match of India's upcoming T20 International series against South Africa. Apart from international matches, AIR will also provide this service for men's and women's domestic tournaments.

The two-year agreement will run from September 10, 2019 to August 31, 2021. The partnership includes coverage of series such as Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup, Deodhar Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Women's Challenger.
