Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi attributed the success of Indian cricket to the Indian Premier League and said it helped the country's emerging young cricketers cope with the pressure in international cricket. The former Pakistan captain said, "I think the IPL changed Indian cricket." His new players are fully prepared after entering international cricket by playing with the top foreign players in the IPL and sharing the dressing room with them.
They are prepared to deal with this level of pressure.
He said, 'I think the IPL changed their cricket and I think our Pakistan Super League will do the same. We are seeing that some good young players are being seen through the league. When you play with or against top international players in front of an audience, you learn to deal with pressure. He also believes that bilateral cricket ties with India are not going to start soon.
