Samit Dravid, son of former India cricketer Rahul Dravid, is also following his footsteps at the cricket ground. After scoring two double centuries within three months, Samit played a fiery 166-run knock for Mallya Aditi International School in the BTR Shield Under-14 Group 1. During his innings, Samit also hit 24 fours in 131 balls. The special thing is that Samiti also bowled after this and took 4 wickets for 35 runs.
Mallya School won because of the all-round performance of the committee. Mallya School had scored 330 runs losing 5 wickets in the first play. The Academic Academy, which came into play in response, managed only 182 runs. Samit was adjudged Man of the Match for his all-round performance with his bat and ball.
The committee had scored a double century in the Under-14 BTR Shield match just last month. The committee had scored 204 runs with the help of 33 fours, due to which the team of Mallya Aditi International School scored 377 losing 3 wickets. Coming out to chase the target, Mr. Kumarn's team was all out for 110 runs.
Let me tell you that in the month of December also, Samiti had scored 201 runs in the Under 14 State Level match. He was playing for Vice President-11 at that time. This match was played in Kolkata. In 256 balls, Samit hit 22 fours in this innings. The match however drew.
