Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed made a prediction about Azam Khan saying that he is a complete T20 player. Now two years later, this prediction of Sarfaraz is also proving correct. A recent proof of this is given by Azam playing a brilliant half-century innings.
Azam was bought by Quetta Gladiators in 2019 PSL season 4. During that time Sarfaraz had said that he did not keep Azam in the team because he is the son of former cricketer Moin Khan. Sarfaraz said in 2017 that Azam is doing well in domestic cricket and Ramadan tournaments. He is a complete T20 player and will not be questioning his selection when he plays in the PSL.
Now Sarfaraz's prediction is proving correct. Azam, playing for the Gladiators, scored 59 runs in 33 balls which included 5 fours and 3 sixes. The match was played against Islamabad United in the current season of PSL.
